Baby, I Have Your Back is a performance about embracing femininity and walking collaboratively in public space. The night walk invites everyone to wear yellow, choose a walking partner, and walk together through the night. The performance will take place between Café Saarein, Bar Buka, Lellebel and Lola the Green Aardvaark on 15 Feburary 2025 from 18:30 starting at Café Saarein.
The performance explores the beauty, struggles, and complexities faced by women, trans women, feminine-presenting people, and queer people when nightwalking in public spaces. Through the act of walking in pairs and a shared getting ready routine, this work documents and highlights these experiences, inviting participation from locals and the queer community. After a year of collaborative night walks across the Netherlands, join us for a special night walk.
